Hangzhou Asian Games Holding Time
The Asian Olympic Council announced that the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou 2022, originally scheduled to be held from September 10th to 25th this year, will be held from September 23th to October 8th, 2023, and will still be called the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou 2022.
Competition Events
This Asian Games has a total of 40 events, including 28 Olympic events and 9 non Olympic events.
There are 28 Olympic events, including swimming, archery, track and field, badminton, basketball, boxing, canoeing, cycling, equestrian, fencing, football, golf, gymnastics, handball, hockey, judo, modern pentathlon, rowing, 7-person rugby, sailing, shooting, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, triathlon, volleyball, weightlifting, and wrestling;

The Hangzhou Asian Organizing Committee said that it would, under the guidance of the Asian Olympic Council and the Chinese Olympic Committee, work with all parties concerned to make comprehensive preparations according to the determined date, and present a sports and cultural event with "Chinese characteristics, Zhejiang style, Hangzhou charm, and splendor".
